Weather & Sky Policy
Astrophotography requires clear, unpolluted dark skies. While we closely track cloud cover and atmospheric clarity leading up to your date, nature can be unpredictable. In the event of heavy cloud cover, dense coastal fog, or severe weather that blanks out the stars, we will collaboratively reschedule your session to the next available clear dark-sky window. Chris maintains strict schedule block-outs during peak lunar phases to ensure private clients get the pristine skies they are investing in.
Extended Custom Expeditions
For photographers seeking the ultimate dark sky adventure, Chris curates custom, multi-day night sky expeditions across California’s premier wilderness landscapes. These immersive, extended masterclasses can be tailored to target deep-sky targets across the ancient bristlecone pines of the Eastern Sierras, the iconic peaks of Yosemite Valley, or the remote sand dunes of Death Valley. Post-Processing Instruction
Up to 3 hours of private post-processing coaching via internet is included. Instruction in both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop is tailored to your experience level, covering:
