Booking and Scheduling
Purchase and schedule your session directly through the online system.
Sessions are available in 1-hour increments; you can book multiple consecutive hours as needed.
If you purchase prior to scheduling, please email to arrange your session.
Before the workshop, we’ll discuss your current editing skills and goals to tailor the instruction for your success.
Note: Pre-discussion time is not part of the session fee unless it results in an extended consultation.

In-field shooting instruction (only included with dedicated field workshops).
Extended computer training outside of editing instruction; such additional computer help will be billed at standard editing session rates.

Book Your Session Using Self-Scheduling
You can always purchase a session at the top of the page if you don’t want to self-schedule. Self scheduling makes it easier to coordinate and asks intake questions to help me to get to know your skills prior to the session.

You can schedule online purchase using the booking system. If you buy before scheduling, please Chris will reach out to learn more about your current editing skills and arrange the session.

Instruction is focused on Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop workflows. Many of my broad techniques will apply to other editing software applications, but tool specific techniques may not transfer over.

Sessions are hourly. You can book multiple hours back-to-back if desired, or necessary to complete workflows. Lightroom workflows are usually completed in 1 hour, Photoshop and Milky Way workflows are typically 2 to 3 hours.

Absolutely! Whether you’re a beginner or advanced editor, sessions are tailored to your goals.

No, this workshop focuses on post-processing only. Field shooting is covered in separate workshops. Some advanced techniques may require specific field captures to complete. To ensure you have the best captures ready to edit, a complete private workshop may be best, editing is included with select field workshops. Visit my private workshop page to learn more.

No. You must have your own computer and licensed editing software.

Additional support is available but billed separately based on session length. Quick answers or clarifications are provided via email or phone for no additional cost.

Yes, sessions are recorded and made available to you for review and use as you edit to solidify skills learned.

Please have your editing software installed and any specific images or projects ready that you want to work on. It’s helpful to think about your editing goals in advance. Chris will ask you to upload your own files to work on. He will also always reach out to seek your goals for the session to maximize learning and time usage.

Yes, organizational workflows in Lightroom can be covered as part of the session if requested or are deemed necessary due to lack of organization.

Sessions are live, interactive video calls via Google Meet, with access to the recording afterward. While in person session are available upon request, Chris wants to stress that the session may not be recorded and you’ll lose the benefit of being able to review the session again, and again. Pre-recorded sessions are available upon request, but you’ll lack the ability to ask questions in the moment.

Please inform me at least 24 hours ahead to reschedule. If you book your session in the scheduler you can reschedule your appointment yourself. Late cancellations or excessive rescheduling may forfeit the session fee. Please schedule your session so you won’t miss it. Chris’ time is as valuable as yours and rescheduling blocks time that can’t be used by others.

Yes, gift cards are available or you can purchase a session without scheduling as a gift. Please reach out to Chris if you’re purchasing as a gift so he can help you choose a session length that will applicable to the gifted party.

Discounts may be available for booking multiple sessions upfront; please inquire for current offers.

Yes, you will receive session recordings and any supplementary materials we cover, such as full resolution images of what was edited for comparison to your own. Use of full resolution images in any way other than for comparison is strictly forbidden unless written consent is obtain directly from Chris.

The focus is on Adobe Lightroom Classic or CC and Photoshop for desktop; mobile app support is limited but can be discussed. Many of the broad techniques will apply to the mobile version of Adobe products or other editing applications.
