I sat down recently with my good buddy Steven J Magner after not seeing his face for nearly 10 months to record a podcast. He's been busy with a new baby girl and building his businesses, he's all grown up! Since we are both stuck at home due to stay at home orders in California, we figured we'd jump on the bandwagon a bit and record a video chat. So should you invest in presets? This question I have asked myself and now I’m going to explore with you. Are they really worth if you want to improve your editing? My past stance and personal opinion is that they would be bad for your overall editing and learning. However, after really thinking about this over the last week I think there are some positives and negatives to presets. Let’s lay them out.

Just in time for tonight’s fireworks shows I have a guide to help you get great shots. Taking great photos of fireworks isn’t very hard and once you have the right settings you’ll be able to capture great shots. Overall, the settings are a means to get the right exposure for your shot and your shutter speed will be a big factor is the final result. Shutters ranging from 1/5th of a second to 60 seconds may look good depending on the desired amount of fireworks you want to capture.

Enhanced Details came out for Lightroom Classic CC in February of 2019. It is a new feature that can help improve the rendition of RAW files to Lightroom. Adobe claims that you should see improved color, detail, edges and less artifacts! Well I think we all want that! If you aren’t sure let me show you what it does.
